A Little Summertime Part IV
This about wraps up our summer happenings. Summertime just flew by and we had so much fun. The last day of summer vacation we declared as "Yes!" day at our house, so as long as it was a reasonable request and didn't cost a lot of money, Mom and Dad would say "yes!" The kids loved it. We ended summer with our "Back to School Feast" complete with crowns, cupcakes (to make a wish on) and shared our favorite books. That evening Dad gave them their school blessings. Then next night for Family Night we took them to "Bounce" to get out all of the ants in their pants before school the next day. We had a great time- even Richard got sweaty. Enjoy!

A Little Summertime Part III
The 4th of July was on Sunday, so we had an extended weekend of "booming" fun. On Monday the 5th, the kids made their rockets and Richard helped them with the traditional rocket launch. The neighbor kids love this too. Lucy didn't like the noise, but Little B joined right in. We had fun playing on the "slippy slide" as Lu calls it and in the little pool. We ate a lot of junk and had a blast. Enjoy!

A Little Summertime Part II
At the beginning of July my parents came up for a visit and to celebrate the baptism of my nephew, James. We had lots of fun at the zoo, at the park, getting rained out at movie night in the park, and at their hotel pool. The kids can't wait until they come back for Jake's baptism- they think it is so cool that they get to go swimming in December!

The Piggy CakeWhat fun we had celebrating our Clara's second birthday. Can you believe she is 2?!? We can't. She loved all the attention, the cake, and the tissue paper. Thanks to all those who sent such fun and generous gifts. She is just in present heaven. She got her ears pierced last week and has graduated from speech therapy. She is talking & singing like crazy. Not all her words are clear, but I will miss her jibber-jabber soon enough. She is trying to dance like her sisters now, but can't get her feet off the floor. She is a dear- except for when she gets into Mom's make-up and when I catch her she smiles & looks out of the corner of her eye and then drops it and runs like crazy. She is definitely two. Her new favorite phrase is, "No way!" We'll post more soon.
xoxo-Steph
