Happy Little Springtime

My "opal innocence" flowers that I had to bring home from the nursery.
Here we go!
Thank You Easter Bunny!
Coloring with the new art supplies.
Oh yeah, the whole thing is going in!
Please!?!
Ready for the hunt!
Silly Jake ready to go.
Hannah and her friends.
Let's go!
Easter dresses & a cool pink shirt.
Our Passover Dinner
Too cute!

The weatherman may be confused as to which season we are in, but the Little ones are growing up fast! My how these chickadees grow!
Jake is growing up to be so responsible, taking it upon himself to help Hannah with her reading, help Dad take out the trash, sweeping the floor, and even cleaning his room once in a while! He is always good for a laugh and a hug.
Hannah is getting so tall and her front teeth are coming in- hallelujah! She continues to thrive in kindergarten and loves helping wherever she goes. Her ballet is going well and she even helps little Lucy learn her positions.
Lucy is still the boss of us around here, but she is just so dang cute, it is hard to mind. She changes her outfit at least 3 times a day into different "ballet stuff" if her favorite green dress isn't available that is. I think she wore it three days last week.
Clara is finally starting to talk to us and she has a lot to say. She is no longer shy or pushed around- Lucy may just have some competition. She is so sweet and loves to be held while she sucks those two fingers.
Richard is still busier than ever. He just had his 5 year review at work and even managed a raise- GO RICHARD!! We are so proud of him.
Steph is doing well. She walked the "Beat Coach Pete" 5k this last Saturday- he was lucky we were all getting over the stomach flu, next year I'll beat Pete for sure! She is glad we are all done throwing up, it was a long Spring Break and Easter weekend- lots of laundry.
Hope you are all well and had a blessed Easter. We'll post more soon. Enjoy the pix.- Steph

Happy Birthday Nan!

Hannah turned six on Feb. 2nd and we had a big "Fashion Show" party this past weekend. The girls glammed up and Nan instructed them on how to walk the runway- it was a blast. After cake and ice cream they danced and sang karaoke to Barbie songs-too fun! Thanks to all those who attended and gave her all the great gifts. Enjoy the pix. Jake was awarded the "Principal's Pride" award for the month of January- we are so proud of him! He is doing so great in school. He was the leadman on our gingerbread "demolition crew" and takes sugar and dessert very seriously. Lucy is potty trained- hallelujah! She earned some great Tinkerbell prizes (paint set, crayons, backpack)but was really motivated by the Tinkerbell lollipop rings- who knew?! She also enjoys playing "Musketeer" and dresses up with her sword and says, "All for one, and all for one." Close enough.

We Had Ourselves a Merry Little Christmas!

We've been busy cutting down our tree in six degree weather (Lu on a sled because she sprained her foot jumping off the bunk bed ladder), taking Nan to the Nutcracker, visiting Santa, making our gingerbread house, attending the live Nativity, going to church, going to parties, getting over strep throat, making lots of goodies, hosting our annual christmas eve pizza and pajama party, retelling the story of the nativity, and remembering how blessed we are. Grandma Etta spoiled us all rotten with the best presents, her presence, and even a Christmas dinner- we love you Gramma Etta! Here's the proof of all our fun:

Hope you enjoy the pix and update. We had a great 2009 and expect 2010 to be even better. Thanks to all of you who spoiled our kids and also to those of you faithful christmas card senders- we love hearing from you. It is getting cold, but no one seems to mind around here since the Broncos won on Monday night. Crazy people. Hope you are all well. Keep in touch. xoxo- the Littles
