We've been busy cutting down our tree in six degree weather (Lu on a sled because she sprained her foot jumping off the bunk bed ladder), taking Nan to the Nutcracker, visiting Santa, making our gingerbread house, attending the live Nativity, going to church, going to parties, getting over strep throat, making lots of goodies, hosting our annual christmas eve pizza and pajama party, retelling the story of the nativity, and remembering how blessed we are. Grandma Etta spoiled us all rotten with the best presents, her presence, and even a Christmas dinner- we love you Gramma Etta! Here's the proof of all our fun:

Jake was awarded the "Principal's Pride" award for the month of January- we are so proud of him! He is doing so great in school. He was the leadman on our gingerbread "demolition crew" and takes sugar and dessert very seriously. Lucy is potty trained- hallelujah! She earned some great Tinkerbell prizes (paint set, crayons, backpack)but was really motivated by the Tinkerbell lollipop rings- who knew?! She also enjoys playing "Musketeer" and dresses up with her sword and says, "All for one, and all for one." Close enough.
